Snicksnack turns speech into text while you talk. Meetings, interviews and quick notes. Swedish is its specialty, and it also writes English and 23 other European languages. Everything happens on your phone. Nothing leaves it unless you choose to send it.

How it works
- Tap the bubble. Recording starts and keeps going in your pocket, even with the screen locked.
- Talk away. The text grows as you talk. Words it isn't sure of yet stay lighter until they settle.
- Tap stop. The whole recording is transcribed again for the best possible text, and the speakers are sorted out. Copy, share, correct, or listen from any word.
It stays on your phone
The speech model runs on your phone. The audio and the text are stored there and are never sent anywhere on their own. There are no accounts, no analytics and no ads. You need the internet just once: to download the speech model the first time you open the app. If you want to send a recording to a server you have chosen yourself, at work for example, you can, but only when you tap.
The little extras
After stop, the text is split up by speaker. Name them and the names show up everywhere.
Apple Intelligence makes a short summary, a list of decisions or quotes. That happens on the phone too.
Playback starts right there, so you can hear exactly what was said.
Turn voice memos, voicemails and interviews recorded somewhere else into text.
